Share mission. Encourage families to make habits of reading,
writing,
saving money, particularly for college
- Emphasize importance of revising work
- Share why habits are important
- Emphasize importance of predicting as a reading
strategy

Read book #1 / It's a Habit, Sammy Rabbit! (audience predicts chapter
titles)
· Ask and answer questions on book, being
an author, habits, saving, etc.
· Play signature song "Get in the Habit!"
and have audience sing along
